Lebanese Defense Minister Maurice Sleem was targeted by an assassination attempt on Thursday, The Jerusalem Post reports citing Lebanese sources.
Sleem’s car was targeted by gunfire in Jisr El Basha, south of capital Beirut.
The rear windshield of the vehicle was hit by bullets, Sleem told MTV Lebanon, stressing that he was not harmed.
