Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions of Belgium, on Tuesday met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, the ministry informed.

The meeting started with a tête-à-tête and then continued in an enlarged format with the participation of delegations from both countries. The meeting was followed by a joint press conference of the two Ministers.

Within the framework of her visit to Armenia, the Belgian FM visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan and paid tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims.

Also, Lahbib visited the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center in Yerevan, taking into account the assistance provided by the Belgian government to this center in 2021, which greatly contributed to the creation of a microsurgery department in the center.
