As part of his working visit to Slovenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Sunday visited Debeli Rtic rehabilitation center, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia.

Accompanied by Samuel Zbogar, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, FM Mirzoyan got acquainted with the aforesaid rehabilitation center's activities, initiatives, and the program for Armenian children. The ambassador of Austria to Slovenia and the representative of the Slovenian Red Cross were also in attendance.

Within the framework of this program implemented with the assistance of the Enhancing Human Security (ITF) organization of Slovenia, the latter’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and the permanent representation of Austria to the OSCE, Debeli Rtic rehabilitation center accept, between August 26 and September 3, a total of 17 children from Armenia and its border areas.

The program is implemented as a continuation of the project "Psychological-social rehabilitation of children, victims of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh" launched by the aforementioned rehabilitation center in the fall of 2022, as a result of which 11 children underwent a medical rehabilitation program at this center.
