YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Chief Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan quietly visited the Government on Thursday, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes. 

“He had gone to the Executive with his Volkswagen Phaeton and entered the building from the back, the entrance intended for official vehicles. Hovsepyan usually walks to the Executive to attend governmental sessions and enters from the main entrance. Relations between the Chief Prosecutor’s Office and the Government are strained for a long time, and Hovsepyan demonstratively does not attend the sessions. On that day he came to the Government after the session. His deputy Aram Tamazyan had taken part in the session. And after the session, Tamazyan and Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan likewise stayed in the building.      

According to our information, a “scuffle” took place at PM’s office, and Hovsepyan, his deputy, and Tovmasyan were involved,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
