YEREVAN. – A fatal car accident occurred in Armenian capital Yerevan on Sunday.

At 4:15 a.m., a Volkswagen Passat collided with a Volvo FH-13 truck, in downtown Yerevan, then it hit a parked Nissan X-Trail jeep, and subsequently hit a tree and stopped.  

As a result of the crash, Volkswagen Passat’s driver and two passengers died on the spot, whereas the truck’s driver was taken to hospital.  

An investigation is underway, Police Force informed Armenian news-NEWS.am.
