YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Special Investigation Service (SIS) petitioned to the Court of First Instance of capital Yerevan’s Nork-Marash administrative districts with a motion to extend for two more months the detention term of Margar Ohanyan, former Chief of Road Police, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.  

“SIS formally informed of this to our correspondent. Margar Ohanyan is charged with abuse of official position and large-scale embezzlement of property, and he is in prison since August 30,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
