YEREVAN. – Development of multilateral relations with the EU always was priority direction of Armenia’s foreign policy, said Armenian Ambassador to Austria Arman Kirakosyan.
Newly appointed Ambassador Kirakosyan presented his credentials on Thursday to Secretary General of Austrian Foreign Ministry Johannes Kyrle.
During the meeting Arman Kirakosyan stressed importance of close cooperation with Austria as EU member state, Armenian foreign office’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Ambassador Kirakosyan briefed Secretary General on developments over Karabakh peace process, stressing that the Armenian side appreciates Austria’s balanced position on South Caucasus.
Johannes Kyrle congratulated Ambassador on his appointment expressing hope for active development and expansion of Armenian-Austrian relations during his tenure.
