YEREVAN. – The amount of AMD 25.2 billion was granted for nine months from the state budget to the service of Armenia’s state debt, which made 87.2% of the project in the nine months, the report published by the Armenian Ministry of Finance reads on Tuesday.

In particular, AMD 16.2 billion went for the internal, while AMD 9 billion for external debt service. State debt service costs exceeded the index by 15.3% compared to last year. It took place mainly based on the increase of internal state debt service costs.

According to the report, within the frameworks of fight against inflation the overall growth trend of the interest rates observed in the financial market does not affect the yield on government bonds. They are still considered the most stable investments by the market participants.
