YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan’s audacious demeanor, in the National Assembly (NA) on Wednesday, surprised many, Hraparak daily writes.  

“In recent periods, he is the one making all the political statements of [ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA. According to our information, PM received this ‘consent’ personally from [President] Serzh Sargsyan. If [NA Speaker] Hovik Abrahamyan was considered the second man [in charge] at one time, now [that person] is Tigran Sargsyan. Some find that the reason for this is the ‘deficit’ of trust toward leader of the legislative body. To note, when past week in [Armenia’s] Gyumri [city] the journalists had asked NA Speaker about Gyumri’s development projects, he advised [them] to direct that question to Tigran Sargsyan,” Hraparak writes.
