YEREVAN. – Soon it will be one year since several homes on Armenian capital Yerevan’s Koryun Street were destroyed by fire, yet their residents are still living on the streets, Yerkir daily writes.

“Some of them have moved to the homes of friends and relatives, whereas several families have bunched up in the sections of their homes that are not burn but are in bad condition and already are life-threatening. By the way, during the census they were registered in those very ‘homes.’ Artur Sargsyan told us they have seen the faces of numerous officials, many of them gave promises, but nothing happened. The residents were especially astonished that, during the recent earthquake in Turkey, Armenia lent a helping hand to the enemy state, whereas their problem remains unresolved. These people are not against assisting. ‘It’s good that they helped, but what about us?’”, Yerkir writes.
