YEREVAN. – Armenian newly appointed Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan has actively run meetings with staff of various police departments, head of police PR department Ashot Aharonyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Aharonyan rejected rumors on resignations.

“These are just meetings, which do not discuss a change of staff. If there is something to change, it may refer to the strategy and not professional staff,” Aharonyan ensured.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed that Gasparyan started staff changes after the appointment. In particular, head of Zvartnots Airport Line Division Karen Babayan and head of Yerevan city department Armen Hakobyan resigned.
