YEREVAN. – Session of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IACIS) will be held at IACIS headquarters in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on November 9.

At the session, Armenian National Assembly (NA) delegation will be led by Deputy Speaker Samvel Nikoyan, NA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

The event’s agenda includes around two dozen matters, including meetings among IACIS standing committee chairmen, IACIS observers’ mission to Senate elections in Kazakhstan and presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, summary of the results of several previous conferences, the course for events marking 20th anniversary of CIS, making changes in the 2011-2015 long-term project of the CIS Model Law, presenting of awards, and cultural and ecological issues.
