YEREVAN. – Tax amendments bill package is already available on official website of the Armenian government. The government has offered to make some amendments to secure the State Budget-2012.

Armenian deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan presented the tax package on Friday. He briefed the journalists that the package first solves income redistribution, by taking more from a big business as Armenia has a system of progressive income tax.

Other amendments refer in particular to the law on excise tax, application of luxury tax as well as increasing tax for those who receive the salary of more than AMD 2 million. Amendments offer to increase the tax by 5% for people with higher income and make it 25%.
