YEREVAN. – It has become apparent that Governor Surik Khachatryan (a.k.a. Liska) of Armenia’s Syunik Region does not only beat women, but he also awards medals. On Thursday he attended 15th anniversary event of Kapan city’s local self-governance agencies and awarded the city’s mayor with the Davit Bek Medal, Hraparak daily writes.

“Liska left immediately after presenting the medal. Incidentally, as per our sources in Syunik, Liska had not showed up for work yesterday (Thursday).  What is more, he purchased a home in Lyon and is preparing to settle in France. His son studies in Lyon. According to certain news, these days he is busy with transferring his business from Armenia,” Hraparak writes.
