YEREVAN. – Armenian capital Yerevan’s former Mayor Karen Karapetyan’s project to renovate city’s Vernissage (open-air touristic item market) has remained unfinished, Hraparak daily writes.

“After his resignation, the organization, which was carrying out renovations at Vernissage, told the vendors [now] they would have to continue with the rest. Specifically, roofing in some sections will have to be carried out by the vendors, and this has caused a discontent. They [the vendors] say, ‘in that case, don’t collect area fees [from us]!’”, Hraparak writes.
