YEREVAN. – Armenian Police Force’s Martuni City Precinct on Sunday received a call that two residents of Artsvanist village were taken to hospital, for symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. It was found out they were poisoned at home because of carbon monoxide spread as a result of a water heater combustion.
Such incident also occurred on Monday, Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Specifically, the Akhuryan City Police Precinct received a call from hospital that a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl from the Vahramaberd village were transferred to the hospital, to receive medical treatment for carbon monoxide poisoning. It became apparent that the kids were poisoned at home as a result of carbon monoxide. The children were given forensic medical treatment vouchers.
The circumstances are being ascertained, and an investigation is underway.
