YEREVAN. - Yerevan will host a festival of Russian language and literature on November 21-25.

The event is organized by National Research University “Higher School of Economics” in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), supported by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Armenia.

The event is a part of the federal target program “Russian Language for 2011 – 2015”.  The main purpose of the event is the study of the situation with the Russian language and literature in Armenia, consideration and discussion of topical issues related to the specifics of Russian language teaching and literature, the complexities and aspects for training of highly skilled experts.
