By the way, it is noted that Ruben Vardanyan's activities in the [Azerbaijani-]besieged Artsakh, where he tried to alleviate the severe humanitarian needs, as well as created opportunities to improve living conditions for people and children in a difficult situation, were also specifically mentioned.

This information, as it appears, does not give peace to Azerbaijan, which has been illegally holding both Ruben Vardanyan and other representatives of Artsakh's military-political leadership captive for a long time.

Accordingly, Azerbaijanis are trying to discredit Vardanyan in the eyes of the world, in particular, to present him as a "Russian agent." This is carried out through various information platforms, in the hope that such an "accusation" will find a response in the West, and Vardanyan will not receive the Nobel Prize.

In parallel, Azerbaijan is trying to influence the members of the European Parliament who have submitted a guarantee to the Nobel Committee, calling on them to remove Vardanyan's name from the list of candidates. However, according to our information, two MPs [of the European Parliament] already have refused to even discuss such calls.
