YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s two-day visit to Georgia kicks off on Tuesday.

As Presidential Press Service had informed Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier, during the visit the parties are expected to discuss bilateral relations and sign documents on the development of Armenian-Georgian cooperation in several domains.

And during her press conference held in Tbilisi on Monday, Georgia’s Deputy FM Nino Kalandadze stated that the visit is a response to Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s visit to Armenia, which was paid in early 2011.    

Prior to the visit, the Armenian Community of Georgia organization sent an open letter to the Presidents of Armenia and Georgia, and requested that during their meeting they focus on several matters concerning the Georgian Armenians.
