YEREVAN. – Armenian Police Force Internal Troops’ former Commander Grigor Grigoryan, who was one of the well-known figures during the March 1, 2008 tragedy, is appointed chief of the Ararat Regional Headquarters of the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). He recently became a PAP member, Zhamanak daily writes.
“Grigoryan quit his post [as Commander] after the tragic events on March 1, 2008. He was commanding the police troops on March 1,” Zhamanak writes.
