YEREVAN. – Sources close to Armenia’s Special Investigation Service inform that former Road Police Chief Margar Ohanyan has paid from his own pocket for the property damages caused to the state, Zhoghovurd daily writes.   

“This notwithstanding, Margar Ohanyan does not fully accept the charges against him. According to our information, aside from Margar Ohanyan, there are also four more perpetrators involved in this case, and they fully accept their guilt. To note, the case is at final phase and it will soon enter the court,” Zhoghovurd daily writes.   

A criminal case is launched against Margar Ohanyan on charges of abuse of official position and large-scale embezzlement of property.
