YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan recently joked that in reality he is not the police chief, but rather the anti-epidemic station chief, since he is combating against mice, toads, and other pests, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.        

“Naturally, Gasparyan meant the government elite’s well-known persons, with matching nicknames, and he deems his main task to be the fight against their ‘disruptive’ activities,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
