YEREVAN. - Russia’s ruling Yedinaya Rossiya Party became triumphant at Armenian capital Yerevan’s polling station set up during the State Duma elections. At the polling station, which was set up at the Russian Embassy, 1,450, or 71.6 percent, of the 2,025 valid votes were cast in favor of Yedinaya Rossiya, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s reporter informed.    

The communists came in second with 224, or 11.1 percent, votes.
