YEREVAN. – The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia will soon be divided again. It will again be separated into two parts: tax and customs services, Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to its well-informed sources.    

“Furthermore, since SRC will be dissolved de jure, [and] pursuant to the Labor Code, SRC employees already received two-month notices to be released from work. Our sources link these changes to two factors: First, hereby an attempt is made, prior to the elections, to decouple this agency’s functions and thus to somewhat lessen the discontent toward SRC. On the other hand, in this way there is an objective of isolating SRC head Gagik Khachatryan,” Zhoghovurd writes.
