YEREVAN. – The agreement on the proportional election list has virtually reached its final phase, Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to its sources close to the Armenian Presidential Office.
“Furthermore, the talks are continuing on the adjustments as to the proportion of the coalition partners. We were informed that an arrangement was reached that [the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA and [coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP must minimize the number of businessmen in the election list. It was proposed that the businessmen be ‘sent’ to the majority-election battle,” Zhoghovurd writes.
