State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Aleksandr Volfovich, has said that Armenia's absence from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit—which took place last week in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan—does not make Armenia's image positive.

"Of course, the deliberate absence of one of the [CSTO] members does not make Armenia's image positive," Volfovich said on the air of Belarus 1.

However, he added, this does not affect the overall agenda of this organization.

According to Volfovich, all the matters that were discussed and agreed during last week’s meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs, defense, and secretaries of the security councils of the CSTO member states in Astana and submitted to the leaders of these countries were considered as a result.
