Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Dutch Ambassador Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter, who has just assumed her diplomatic mission in Armenia, the PM’s office informs.

The premier congratulated the ambassador on assuming the aforesaid post and wished her success for the further development and strengthening of cooperation between Armenia and the Netherlands. Pashinyan noted that close cooperation has been formed in recent years and there is an active political dialogue between the two countries. The head of state expressed hope that relations in various domains will be further expanded in the near future between Armenia and the Netherlands—and as a result of effective bilateral work.

The ambassador, for her part, emphasized the interest of the Dutch government in developing relations with Armenia, including toward promoting democratic reforms, expanding economic ties, and developing relations between Armenia and the European Union.

The interlocutors discussed several other matters of mutual interest as well.
