Armenia-Italy defense consultations were held Thursday at the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia, the MoD informs Armenian News-NEWS.am

The consultations were led by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the of the Armenian MoD, and Mattia Zuzzi, Head of the International Relations Office of the General Staff of the Army of Italy.

During the consultations, the work carried out toward cooperation in 2024 were discussed, and the next year's activities were planned.

The parties expressed their satisfaction with the course of their cooperation, which has been expanding in recent years and including new domains.

Also, views were exchanged on a number of regional and international issues.

And following the consultations, the 2025 program of defense cooperation between Armenia and Italy was signed. This program includes several measures in exchange of experience, training in various directions, military education, and some other domains.
