The UK government has announced a new package of £225 million (about US$286 million) of military aid to Ukraine, the BBC reports.

The package includes £92 million of aid to Ukraine's navy: boats, as well as naval, reconnaissance and combat drones.

In the new package, £68 million will go to air defense: radars, electronic warfare systems, and ground-based decoys.

The £29 million of this new package is the cost of buying more than a thousand field electronic warfare systems and protective equipment.

And £26 million will be spent on maintenance of spare parts and equipment already delivered to Ukraine.
