Following the Israeli air force's interception of a drone launched from Yemen that was headed toward Israel on Monday, Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened the Houthis with a "decisive blow," reports The Jerusalem Post.

"We will strike the Houthis hard, destroy their strategic infrastructure, and decapitate their leadership—just as we did to Haniyeh, Sinwar, and Nasrallah in Tehran, Gaza, and Lebanon—we will do the same in Hodeidah and Sana'a," Katz said.

This is the first time an Israeli official has spoken about Israel's participation in assassinating Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in Tehran in July.
