Hraparak daily of the Republic off Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: Although [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's [social media] posts yesterday gave the impression that he is avoiding going to Russia and participating in the CIS- and EAEU-format events, there are rumors behind the political scenes that Russia also has no particular desire to receive Pashinyan anymore, and the RF [(Russian Federation)] is even urging Pashinyan to either intensify the membership [of Armenia] or leave the CSTO. It should be reminded that Armenia has frozen the membership in this organization for more than a year.
They say the RF has realized that are working in the format of Pashinyan-[Azerbaijan president] Aliyev tête-à-tête arrangements, and it is not excluded that in the near future Pashinyan will hand over the "Zangezur corridor" to Aliyev in a "non-peaceful" way, and then drop it in the pocket of the CSTO [saying] that there was an attack on the RA sovereign territory, the CSTO did not nothing [about]. Therefore, they urge [Armenia]: ‘Leave [the CSTO], so that we do not have any obligations towards you.’”
