Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes as follows: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan continues to vehemently fight against the Armenian Church.

Even the New Year's address of the Catholicos of All Armenians is at his throat, and he "fights relentlessly" with it.

For the second year in a row, the New Year's address of the Catholicos of All Armenians will not be broadcast on the air of the [state-funded] Public Television Company [(H1)] due to the pettiness of the authorities.

Let's remind that last year as well, the Public Television Company, which is "fed" at the expense of [Armenia’s] taxpayers, refused to publicize the New Year’s address of the Catholicos before midnight.

As reported by the Mother See [of Holy Etchmiadzin], the H1 proposed to present the address of the Patriarch of All Armenians during the evening edition of News [broadcast], which was rejected by the Mother See.

It turns out that by the "instruction" of the local authorities, H1 has decided not to broadcast the address of the Catholicos of All Armenians this year again, with a lame excuse.

For some reason, they want to broadcast the address of the Catholicos on December 31 at 21:55, while for decades the address of the head of the country on New Year's Eve was preceded by the patriarchal address of the spiritual leader [of the Armenians], the Catholicos.

It turns out that Pashinyan's pettiness and ambition do not allow the Catholicos' [New Year’s] speech to be broadcast before his speech.
