Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: We have written that after approving the EU membership draft [decision], the threats being made from Russia have worried [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan, who a few days ago had organized a discussion in Ijevan [city], with the participation of the officials of the executive and legislative bodies, proposed to point out solutions to overcome the expected heavy blow to the RA economy, saying, that they cannot take a step back and refuse to accept the EU [membership] draft.

We were informed, however, that the EU membership draft was not included in the agenda of the first session of the NA [i.e. the National Assembly] spring session starting on Monday—although it has been in the parliament since the end of last year.

By the way, there is a strong group of MPs in the ruling faction who are against the adoption of that draft, considering it "adventurism with dangerous consequences."

By the way, the text of the draft has become a topic of amusement at the [ruling] CC [i.e. the Civil Contract Faction]; they say they are amazed by the level of illiteracy and primitiveness of those rushing to Europe.
