Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received Czech Ambassador Petr Piruncik, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

The minister highlighted the effective cooperation established between Armenia and the Czech Republic not only bilaterally, but also within the EU framework, and emphasized the positive results recorded as a result of this partnership. Also, Sargsyan emphasized that the EU is one of the key partners in the reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

In turn, Ambassador Piruncik lauded the impressive reforms underway at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, and particularly stressed the reforms in the police sector and the process of formation and establishment of the ministry.

Opportunities for exchange of experience in various directions were discussed, too.

Reference was made also to the work being carried out towards visa liberalization and the digitization process.

The parties expressed readiness to expand cooperation, contributing to the development of bilateral relations.
