Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, in his microblog on social network X, praised the results of his meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.

“Had a productive meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Mr. Suren Papikyan on the margins of AERO-India-2025. Discussed the significant progress made in our bilateral defense ties and we both agreed to further deepen cooperation,” he said.

Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the head of the ministry, Suren Papikyan, met with Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh during his working visit to India on February 11.

It is noted that the sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation. The sides discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between Armenia and India.

The ministers also touched upon issues related to regional and international security.

The meeting was also attended by Armenian Ambassador to India Vahagn Afyan and Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry Aram Jivanyan.
