Iravunk newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: At the beginning of the session of the RA National Assembly on June 12, 2014, [then] opposition MP [and now PM] Nikol Pashinyan began to shriek that some offensive expressions had been made during the discussion of the Armenian-Russian parliamentary club the previous day. (…).

In response to him, [then] MP Hayk Babukhanyan, who participated in the session unlike Nikol, said that Nikol is an ordinary slanderer and a liar. (…).

It is clear that Nikol, who is Russophobic and expresses the will of foreigners to the core, was looking for any opportunity to spoil Armenian-Russian relations.

However, let us turn to Nikol's point of view that for expressing in a "disrespectful tone" about the "martyrs of the Armenian people," that person should be recognized as persona non grata in the territory of the RA. This is one of those rare thoughts with which we have to agree. Therefore, since Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly noted that Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] is supposedly the land of Azerbaijan, and with that he has shown disrespect towards the tens of thousands of martyrs of the Armenian people who fell defending Artsakh. It turns out that tens of thousands of Armenian martyrs died not in the sacred struggle to defend their own homeland from the Turks, but were aggressors. This is nothing more than disrespect towards the martyrs of the Armenian people.

Moreover, Nikol's statements regarding the Armenian Genocide, which aim to reexamine the 1915-23 Genocide committed by Turkey in Western Armenia, are nothing more than disrespect towards the 3 million martyrs of the Armenian people.

Thus, in 2022-25, Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly shown disrespect towards the martyrs of the Armenian people and according to Nikol Pashinyan's assertion expressed in 2014, Nikol Pashinyan should be declared persona non grata in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. (…).

Although, this would be the mildest and perhaps even the most desirable option for Nikol Pashinyan, since according to the [Armenian] criminal code, Nikol Pashinyan should have served a criminal sentence.
