Iravunk daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows in particular: Most likely, the US ambassador to the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation] will be replaced by [US President Donald] Trump. Instead of her, according to insider sources of the American press, a career diplomat with about 35 years of experience, who worked at the US embassy in Moscow in the 1980s and is very familiar with the post-Soviet territory, may be appointed. This is noted by, associate professor at the Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy of YSU [i.e. Yerevan State University], international affairs expert Grigor Balasanyan.

“We all know the current US ambassador to Moscow well. It is the notorious Lynne Tracy, who, before her appointment to Moscow, was the US ambassador to the RA, and was quite often hosted by high-ranking RA officials of various calibers, not forgetting, of course, to find time for her own clients-experts. With the change of the [US] ambassador to Moscow, the [current] US ambassador to the RA, Kristina Kvien, will also be replaced; logic dictates so."
