Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky landed in Britain on Saturday, leaving the United States after a stormy altercation with U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday, CNN reported.

In Britain, Zelensky is expected to attend a summit of European leaders on Sunday to discuss support for Kyiv.

While European leaders are likely to be far less hostile toward Zelensky than their U.S. counterparts, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, cautioned against excessive optimism.

“If you think that today the situation will somehow miraculously improve ... don't count on it,” he wrote in his Telegram message before Zelensky's arrival.
