British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a four-point plan to work with Ukraine to end the war with Russia, Sky News reported.

Starmer said at a summit of world leaders in London that Britain, France and other countries would step up their efforts as part of a “coalition of the willing.”

Speaking at a press conference after the leaders' meeting, Starmer said four points had been agreed:

To maintain the flow of military aid and further increase economic pressure on Russia;

any sustained momentum must guarantee Ukraine's sovereignty and security, and Ukraine must be at the peace table:

If a peace agreement is reached, strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities to deter any future invasion;

create a “coalition of the willing” to protect the agreement in Ukraine and ensure peace.

Starmer did not specify which countries had agreed to join the coalition, but said those who had made the commitment were stepping up planning as a matter of urgency.

He said the UK would back up its commitment with “boots on the ground and planes in the air”.
