Ankara’s threats do not impress Paris, said member of the French Union for a Popular Movement Patrick Devedjian, Le Figaro reports.

Speaking during Talk-Orange-Le Figaro program on Thursday he said that Turkey is too aggressive for the county which wants to join the EU. According to him, Turkey’s behavior towards Israel, Cyprus, North Iraq, Syria, Greece and Armenia creates an unpleasant image.

Commenting on manifestation of force and tough slogans of the Turkish demonstrators, Devedjian said Turkey cannot teach lesson on freedom of thought as article 301 of Turkish criminal code bans voicing any thesis about the Armenian Genocide. “We must not yield to threats,” MP said.
