The chiefs of the armed forces of India and Pakistan are discussing a ceasefire agreement between the two countries during their talks, News 18 reports.

The Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan are holding talks on a ceasefire agreement between the two countries, the aforesaid television informed.

The post of DGMO is one of the most powerful positions in the Indian army. He reports directly to the Chief of Army Staff, and plays a key role in the planning and execution of all military operations inside and outside India.

Relations between India and Pakistan have strained considerably after the April 22 terror attack in the popular tourist town of Pahalgam in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 25 Indians and one Nepali.
