YEREVAN. – Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian received Tuesday Jonathan James Aves and Catherine Jane Leach, the newly appointed ambassadors of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, who presented the copies of their credentials to the Minister. 

Edward Nalbandian wished the ambassadors success in their mission, and noted they will have an important contribution to the development of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

In their turn, ambassadors Aves and Leach said that during their tenure they will do their utmost to strengthen and deepen Armenian-British relations. 

Edward Nalbandian expressed a hope that relations between the two countries would continuously develop.

The interlocutors also reflected on the Armenia-EU cooperation within the Eastern Partnership framework, and discussed regional and international matters of bilateral interest.
