YEREVAN. – Armenia’s several opposition forces plan on holding a conference Friday, at capital Yerevan’s Erebuni Hotel, to discuss the matter of changing to 100-percent proportional election system, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“The [ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA and [Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP are invited, too. [To note,] The [National Assembly] NA’s spring session on February 6 will examine [opposition ARF] Dashnaktsutyun and Heritage [parties’] legislative initiative which proposes the elimination of the majority election system,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
