At the latest hearing in the Baku military court, Ruben Vardanyan requested a confidential meeting with his lawyer, Abraham Berman.
According to Azerbaijani media, the court granted the request and declared a short recess. After the break, Ruben Vardanyan announced that he was refusing his lawyer.
It is reported that Vardanyan decided to dismiss his lawyer because he is dissatisfied with the overall conduct of the trial.
