At the October 23 Yerevan City Council session, Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated that the government will review the reconstruction project for the completed section of the Cascade complex.

The project has been submitted for public discussion, and residents approved it via the “Active Citizen” platform.

The completed section will house a 36,000 m² complex for the Yerevan City Hall, including a 1,000-seat banquet hall, a concert hall, and a museum area. The entire space will belong to the City Hall.

Mayor Avinyan also noted that the City Hall will allow construction of a business complex on the adjacent 125,000–130,000 m² area. Construction will proceed simultaneously under strict supervision.

“I sincerely hope that the Cascade construction will be completed within 4–5 years,” he added.
