UK Minister of State for Defense Vernon Coaker is in Yerevan, informs the British embassy in Armenia.

“Building on [UK] Minister [of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories, Stephen] Doughty’s visit in August, when we set out our intention to upgrade relations to a Strategic Partnership, UK Minister of State for Defence Vernon Coaker is in Yerevan today to open the UK’s first permanent Defence Section demonstrating our long-term commitment to Armenia’s security and sovereignty,” the embassy noted Friday on Facebook.
