Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the visiting NATO Deputy Secretary General, Radmila Shekerinska, the PM’s office reports.

The interlocutors discussed the development of the Armenia–NATO partnership and cooperation.

PM Pashinyan noted that Armenia values cooperation with international partners, including NATO, in order to advance the agenda of security and stability in the region.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General, for her part, highly appreciated their partnership with Armenia, and thanked the premier for receiving NATO-accredited ambassadors and for an interesting and productive discussion earlier.

Reference was made also to the Washington declaration signed on August 8 between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the subsequent events. Views were exchanged regarding steps to unblock regional communications, in particular the TRIPP and the Crossroads of Peace projects.

The interlocutors also discussed several other matters of mutual interest.
