North Korea conducted missile launch drills on Sunday, attended by the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, reports the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). “Long-range strategic cruise missile launch drills were conducted in the West Sea of Korea [Yellow Sea],” the aforesaid news agency informed, in particular.

The missiles accurately hit their targets, flying along a certain trajectory over the Yellow Sea for 10.199 seconds and 10.203 seconds, respectively. The North Korean leader, who watched the test, expressed great satisfaction with the results of the drills. The report noted that the drills demonstrated “the absolute reliability of the DPRK’s strategic counterattack capability (...). "Kim Jong Un assured that our party and the government of the Republic will continue to make every effort to endlessly and continuously strengthen and develop the state's nuclear combat forces," KCNA added.
