Flights from Aleppo, Syria and Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to Armenia’s capital Yerevan scheduled for today have been canceled, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the official website of Yerevan's Zvartnots International Airport.

According to information received from Zvartnots, flights scheduled for today in the opposite directions—Yerevan-Aleppo, Yerevan-Sharm el-Sheikh—have also been canceled.

Clashes started Tuesday in Aleppo between the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian army, which have resulted in casualties among the civilian population and extensive material damage.
