A private meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze took place Wednesday morning, the Armenian PM’s office reports.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of matters on the agenda of bilateral strategic relations. The consistent development and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries were emphasized. In this context, the 15th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Georgia, to be held today, was emphasized. The parties expressed a conviction that it will give a new impetus to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in various domains.

The prime ministers of Armenia and Georgia exchanged views also on a number of matters of regional importance. The continuity of steps aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region was emphasized.

As reported earlier, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan is in Georgia on a working visit.
